For live entertainment you might, but otherwise, it's just a restaurant
If you called on a regular basis and there's no answer and if you've left a message and you've gotten a reply then that simply means she's closed down apparently. That's definitely not normal but here with this virus she probably spent days there but no one came so you can't really complain it's a great place and when she replies or let everyone know that she's opened.... I guess she is closed temporarily. Sorry about that but there's nothing you can do at least you're trying
I just called them. Someone posted their closed permanently
Says they are.
I recommend you call first.... not sure what their holiday hours are
I was there on a friday night. Passing thru the town. I dont know sunday price.

Great food and great owners. Stop by and experience country cooking at its finest.
Great food. Cool spot for ice cream and tranquility.
It was well worth the wait
Went on Sunday and they only had the buffet. OMG, southern dream come true! It was delicious- homemade food such as fried chicken, mac-n-cheese, greens, desserts. There also happened to be a car show that weekend.
Peaceful..great stop..and we were hungry so we tried the Sunday buffet..it was great. Great Mac n cheese..baked chicken was very good
Eating here is an experience that I highly recommend. The cute little shops & the big rocking chair front porch, definitely a trip we will make more frequently now that I know it exists.
The wait was an hour and 15 minutes on a Friday night. But the food was good, typical Southern cuisine and the band was good.
We went in for a quick meal and spent 50 minuets waiting on are food. I will cut them a little slack as they were using a new menu and you could tell the waitress was rattled. Overall the food was good, I got the “gourmet” hotdogs with chili which was about average and the kids got chicken fingers and grilled cheese, which they both enjoyed. The real win was the price, 1 adult and 2 kids ate for right under $20. If you are around or passing through the Table Rock area, it’s worth a try.
If your every close to HWY 11 and enjoy GOOD food and GOOD people stop in they have the best food around country sitting love love this place
Went for the breakfast buffet. Had to go through the plates to find a clean one. Fixed my own coffee only to discover after I had drank from it that is had lipstick on the other side of the mug! I'm not wearing lipstick. Told the waitress. She said she told her manager, but no one came to apologize. The orange juice was old. It was just yuck all around. Will not go back as this is not my first bad experience there.
A place to enjoy a good home cooked quality meal. Food is cooked to order so expect time to enjoy a pleasant conversation with family and friends.
A must stop when traveling by this little country setting. They also have good food & ice cream!!
The food was good & our waitress great but the wait time was awful! Told 30 minutes but waited 1 hour & 15 minutes. Several other families waited 1 hour 45 minutes plus.
Went to have breakfast with family and was not pleased from the start. We were seated and ask what we wanted to drink to be told it’s on the bar.. what? Then had to go thru dishes to find a clean plate. Food was cold . Coffee was very weak and orange juice was getting old. When we complained was told the manger would be out to speak with us. Never saw manager. Was ask when I paid how it was and I told her not good, the cashier said oh I am sorry. That was it. I will not recommend or go back.
Staff was warm and kind. They asked multiple times if I was enjoying my time there. The food was good, and came out hot and fresh.
Excellent choices of home style southern cooking. I will be back again. Highly recommended.
Is normally better but they still haven't opened up since the pandemic hit
Good hotdogs
Great food and staff! The portions were big, we had to take half of ours home. Food was delicious including the ice cream. Highly recommend the hot dogs, Philly, sweet potato tots and onion rings!
AMAZING! Great food, friendly staff, good prices, and the best fried green tomatoes I've ever eaten! We were visiting from out of town and ate there four times while we there. Just know you can't order off their menu any of the times they are having a special buffet going on. (Seafood buffet, burger bar, breakfast buffet, Sunday lunch bar) All the info. Is on their website. We will DEFINITELY be visiting again when we go back. Great job!!
This place used to be wonderful. You could find a lot of cool little hand made items and what not. Now most of the stuff is over priced made in China stuff and over priced Mayfield ice cream. Take the kids, go for a hike, see the mountains, but just stop by Ingles on the way home and pick up some ice cream. You'll save about 30 bucks for the same stuff.
Used to go here as a kid. Took my daughter here before heading up into the mountains. Nice food and they have bands on certain days. They have a place to get icecream and the fudge is still good!
We waited for one hour before the dining room was opened for lunch. Our family was fourth in line, yet our name was taken and the number in our party. Why was our name taken to be seated in an empty dining room? Anyway, I asked if we could sit on the porch and wait until our name was called. The answer was yes. The problem was that our name was never called. After approximately 10 minutes, we peeked in, and everyone else had been seated. The four families ahead of us, and the ten to fifteen behind us. Say what? Finally, we were seated, only to be disappointed again that the cafe menu and the online menu didn't add up. We were in the mood for country cooking not burgers and sandwiches. We left before ordering.
Nice stop on our mountain visit. Very clean, we didn’t order food just ice cream. Love that they had multiple areas including a little general store.
We love coming here. Always leave full and happy. There may be a wait, but we do not come in a hurry. It is a good ol place with hash and hand pattied meat!
This place is awesome totally best place I think I ever ate with great service great view country folks an service was awesome food phenomenal a. Just awesome place to eat an visit
Nice little place on highway 11. Nice restaurant and other things to do. Good view of table rock mountain.
I absolutely love Aunt Sues. I've enjoyed this spot many times over and over. I first came here when I was a maintenance man at a camp in Rosman in Brevard Area in 1991. So I have countless memories and always enjoy my time here. If you drive by you are missing out
Don't go on a Sunday. Food was good, staff was friendly. But, they either are not staffed properly or they don't know how to manage rush crowds. Waited just under 30 minutes to be seated. It can happen, I get that. Part of wait, in my opinion, was because there was only one person working the hostess desk as well as the cash register. She would spend nearly 10 minutes at the register checking people out. In the mean time, the line of people waiting to get their name on the list was growing. Since, there was no one at the hostess desk, no ones name was getting called to be seated either. There were quite a few people commenting on how many empty tables there were in the dining room while the waiting area was packed.Maybe it was a bad day. Maybe people called in sick. Not sure. I've eaten there before during the week and its been nice. Just don't see myself going back on the weekend.
Good country food, friendly staff. If you have a person in your party with special dietary needs, they may have trouble finding a selection , though.
Our favorite place out in the country. We go to the Sunday buffet, get there early if you don't like to wait a little while. There are so many things that I can rave about. The meatloaf, fried chicken, mac & cheese, strawberry shortcake, and salad bar are alllll to die for. And the best sweet tea in a mason jar that you'll ever let touch your lips.
Great place. Eat burger here and walk a few steps away and get ice cream. Beautiful riding area. Lots of curves, waterfalls, riding along river. Slip rock, table rock,,it's called Dracula something on motorcycle map
Quant country restaurant with delicious southern cooking and friendly staff. Highly recommend the berry cobbler for dessert!
Great ambiance, must visit.
The place always nice to visit! It's got good food, nice people, and great views.
Food was delicious. Wait time was not as bad for our large party. Good southern buffet style home cooking.
I love Aunt Sue’s. The breakfast buffet on Saturday is my absolute favorite! All the food is fresh and doesn’t sit under heat lamps for hours on end. Everything is homemade and delicious. Everyone from the folks stocking the buffet to getting your drinks are so friendly and inviting. The prices are very reasonable and the food is great. Well worth the trip from anywhere.
The place has been abandoned.
Love this place grew up coming here for ice cream and now love it for lunch after a hike or a day at the river it has lots of charm good food yummy treats and a few cute local shops to check out!
Waited an hour for a $12 cheeseburger that came to my table barely warm. Salad was full of wilted lettuce and onion rings that tasted like they were cooked an hour earlier. I would never recommend lunch on Saturdays.
Who doesn't like to eat home cooked foods? They do a great job here and every Sunday it's buffet. The help is friendly and helpful with any request. You've got to get out and try it yourself. The views are grand and the ride to and from makes this one of my favorite place s to go.
The buffet is very good, prices are decent (even for a "tourist trap" type place), staff is very friendly and the service is good. Excellent place for a good lunch, but an even better place for an outstanding supper, especially when there's a bluegrass band playing!
I would have given it 4 stars, but the way they do things, makes no sense. You wait in line to pay. Then you wait for your food, to go to the bar for topping. This means you can wait in line to pay and to receive your food, for 30-45 min. Without a huge crowd. For $13.00 just put the burgers on the burger bar. Also the buns were way bigger than the burger. Get a ⁰smaller bun, or make a bigger burger. Chips brought to the table were great, staff was really nice. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the ice cream.
Love the atmosphere here. If you are in a hurry though you might not want to go for Sunday lunch. There is usually quite a wait, but I think it is well worth the wait.
Aunt Sue's is a local legend. Great country food and specialty menus on the weekends. They moved the ice cream to a building at the end of the board walk. I like this better. Several other shops there as well if you are interested. We love taking jeep rides to Aunt Sue's and putting our feet in the creek and then getting ice cream. Memories!
I love the friendliness and atmosphere here. It was very busy but staff stayed on top of things and still have great service. The food was good. It wasn't highly seasoned but I know a lot of places go low on salt and other seasoning. A bigger salad bar selection would have earned an extra star
We loved the rustic look and the smell of wood. Ruben sandwich and fried mushrooms very good. Wife didn't like her salad, seems the ham on it wasn't the freshest.
Best home cooked food ever in a restaurant. .priced right. .
This is a very popular place to eat specially during the weekend. We waited a good 10 minutes to be seated, they cook to order so it will take time to get your food out, and if is busy wait an extra 10 min. We order hamburgers, the portion was good for a 12$ dollar plate, that included one side, drinks and ice cream. The service itself could be better. They also have a little general store with some handmade items, a jewelry store and the ice cream parlor.
